I have invented a product that I describe as “stupidly simple”. I found it hard to believe that no one has come up with it yet.
The nail clipper was invented 112 years ago, and the emery board is just a portable rock.
Over the years, there have been variations on these ideas, but no real new products in the field of nail care.
Dental care items such as toothbrushes and hair removal devices such as disposable razors are multi-billion dollar industries with new products being introduced every few months. Gillette was P&G’s biggest acquisition ever.
Why is there so little emphasis on nail care?
The reason is, no one has come up with anything new, at least nothing substantial.
The product line I have invented is a simple, yet bold leap in the nail care industry.
Yes, I did say product line. The product line will range from one-piece disposable units, to fairly complex electrically powered units. (Imagine an electric pencil sharpener for you fingernails. Stick it in and it comes out finished.)
My product line has years worth of new shapes, sizes and designs that can accommodate virtually ever man, woman and child.
The product line has serious safety improvements when compared to current nail care products. Variations of these products will be very safe and effective for the elderly and people with a variety of mental and physical handicaps.
The simplest of these products can be made for pennies and sold for dollars. The profit margins should be quite high. I also truly believe, that with proper marketing, I can sell 10’s of millions annually in the U.S., and 100’s of millions world wide.
I have set up a legitimate LLC, I have a great Registered Trademark, I have websites, slogans and catch phrases, I have many designs and styles laid out and drawn up, and I have U.S. and PCT patent pending status.
What I don’t have is an actual product. I’m in the process of finding a suitable manufacturing company to start low-level production for start-up sales and promotional purposes.
I am currently looking to find an out right buyer for the product line, a company to license the product line to, an investor or investors (anywhere from $5000 to $100,000), A manufacturing company to set up production, possibly as an investment, or anyone with the abilities to get this off the ground.
Even with the patent pending, I’m remaining somewhat tight-lipped about this idea.
